Having past professional experience and, therefore, knowing very well the acoustic measurement technology market, we have invested in latest cutting edge scientific grade instruments covering the complete acoustic measurement chain from data acquisition to analysis, up to reporting / deliverables production.

Our instruments are calibrated by an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory periodically according to manufacturer recommendations and legal requirements. As such, the sound measurements we perform and constitute input data of our studies are of an optimal – Class 1 rated – accuracy with a maximum error tolerance of +/- 1 dB.  

With our instrumentation we have the capability of performing:

Electroacoustics

Environmental acoustics: 3D noise calculation and mapping software for modelling traffic noise (mostly line sources), industrial noise (as point / surface sources), buildings and other objects (i.e. noise barriers) that impact sound propagation, ground terrain features, meteo conditions and so on. For larger projects, we have the capability of calculating multiple model instances concurrently for both calculation speed and risk minimization / backup purposes.
Architectural acoustics: 3D architectural acoustics and industrial acoustics calculation software. Modelling of room geometry, architectural features, objects, material sound absorption and diffusion coefficients, calculation of all established room acoustics parameters and binaural auralizations.
Workplace acoustics: 2D/3D workplace acoustics calculation and mapping software. Modelling of workplace environment, measurements in the form of contour maps displaying noise, together with non-acoustic indicators such as: temperature, humidity, light and radiation.
Product acoustics: 3D acoustic modelling based on various methods such as ray-tracing acoustics, different versions of Finite Element (FEM) and Boundary Element (BEM) methods.
Electroacoustics: 3D sound calculation software for modelling coverage of sound reinforcement / public address systems.
